The Squat Position
The knees of the lying partner provide thrusting leverage in the squat posture, which places the receiver on top.
The penetrating partner lies face up on the bed to enter this sex position. To accomplish penetration, the receiving partner then squats down and straddles the penetrating partner.
More About The Squat Position
Consider the squat position a more difficult variation of the cowgirl pose. The bottom partner bends their knees so that the front of their thighs rest against the receiver's butt rather than lying flat. By tilting their legs, the receiving partner can lean back and use their hands to gain leverage on the legs of the bottom partner.
There are several enjoyable advantages to this adjustment of perspective. The receiving partner can receive thrusts more quickly and deeply than they might otherwise be able to when the penetrating partner's knees are there to provide upward leverage. Using the arms can also lessen leg tiredness and allow you to go farther before your legs shake and you have to switch positions.
And, the Squat position offers the same benefits as your favorite receiver-on-top positions, like:
- Deep penetration. The squat position allows for extremely deep penetration with the knees drawn up to the chest and the majority of your body out of the way.
- Receiver-controlled speed and depth. The receiving partner has control over the speed and depth of sex when they are on top. This not only lessens the discomfort associated with "bottoming out," but it can also guarantee that the receiving partner receives the stimulation required to reach orgasm. If anal penetration is the goal, this control over penetration depth and speed can also be quite beneficial! The receiving partner is free to work at their own pace.
- Easy g-spot/p-spot pleasure. They can assist in guiding the penis or strap-on dildo to easily target the pleasure areas inside of them because the receiving spouse controls the angle.
Modifying the Squat Position
All of these advantages do not, however, negate the fact that this sex position is more challenging to execute than the typical Cowgirl position. The squat position is especially taxing on both partners' knees.
The knees of the receiving partner must be able to maintain and bounce up and down in a squat position. Given the strain it places on the joints, this can be a challenging request for most people, unless they have those famous "Megan Thee Stallion knees."
The penetrating partner's knees aren't much better off in this posture either. Despite the top partner's body weight resistance, they must maintain a bent knee position. Once there, the upper partner bears down on them, and their inner thighs and knees must be able to bear some of the weight. Some frequently overworked muscles are under a lot of strain!
We advise converting the squat posture into the swinging cowgirl position by adding a sex swing to lessen the strain on both partners' bodies. By depending on outside support rather than one another's bodies, the sex swing helps to relieve many of the aches and pains associated with the squat posture. The top partner's body is supported upward by the sex swing, which lessens the strain on their knees. The load on the penetrating partner is significantly reduced when the receiving partner holds onto the swing rather than the bottom partner's knees.
Additionally, you have a sex swing to try out a variety of novel sex positions!
The squat position is still not for everyone, despite these adjustments and a sex swing. There are hundreds of different sex positions that can be more beneficial to your bodies if that is the case. Keep in mind that having sex is about connection and enjoyment; if it's too painful or uncomfortable, you'll be too preoccupied to have fun! Just decide on a different sex position that suits you both better.
