Pony Play
A BDSM activity and fetish pony play involves roleplaying in which one person assumes the role of a pony, and their partner takes on the role of their trainer or rider. It's a roleplaying with animals. Ponyplay is not so much about the pony's appearance as it is about how the pony is treated, behaves, and thinks. Usually, the pony has two legs. The pony look can be finished with saddles, bit gags, bridles, hoof boots, whips, harnesses, and butt plug tails. The fantasy can also include realistic sex equipment.

Ponyplay comes in a variety of forms. The three most typical ones are:
- Show Pony: Emphasizes conventional dressage techniques and clothing (harness, plume, etc.).
- Cart Pony: The dominant pony pulls them in a cart.
- The dominant person "rides" their pony. Depending on the pony's strength, this could be risky. Ponies frequently stand on four legs, with the rider's legs supporting most of their weight.
Pony play costumes and equipment can be exquisite and ornate, much like in other BDSM plays. Leather bridles and pony masks are an adaptation of standard BDSM harnesses, masks, and other equipment.
