Plumber Position

One type of oral sex position is the plumber position. Although fellatio is the usual use for this position, rimming or cunnilingus may also be employed.

A penis-owner squats down to show their penis to their partner, who then rests on their knees and elbows and sucks the receiving partner's penis to enter this sex position.

The performing partner's position is similar to a plumber getting beneath a sink to make repairs, which is how this sex position got its name.

Even if there isn't much room for sex toys in the plumber position, it is still feasible. For instance, in the picture above, the providing partner is performing fellatio while playing with an anal toy (such as the Thump-It, Satisfyer Love Beads, Odile, b-Vibe Snug Plug, or Nexus Simul8), allowing both partners to be stimulated simultaneously. If desired, the receiving partner may additionally wear a butt plug while in this position.

More About the Plumber Position

To engage in oral intercourse in the Plumber position, a penis-haver squats down with their feet flat on the floor while standing with their legs shoulder-length apart. Their partner drops to their knees and elbows while facing the recipient. This position facilitates oral sex by placing the performing partner's face near the receiving partner's penis and testicles. The receiving partner can grip or stroke their partner's breasts, buttocks, and back at this period.

Performing oral sex while lying down on one's back is a popular version of the Plumber position. To engage in oral sex, the penis-haver kneels, placing one leg on each side of their partner's face, much like in the Assisted Queen position. The individual engaging in oral sex finds this variation to be less taxing. Additionally, it frees up their hands to massage their partner's buttocks and back, mix a hand job with a blow job, or use a sex toy on them for extra stimulation.

Both versions allow their partner to regulate fellatio because the penis-haver is comparatively still during oral sex. This reduces the chance of gagging and makes oral sex more comfortable for the giver. However, if the person providing sex prefers to be more submissive, the penis-haver getting oral sex may thrust.

Depending on the desires of the partner, the Plumber position can be utilized during the whole sex act or as part of foreplay. Both heterosexual and gay couples can conduct it with ease and without any changes.

Depending on the variant, the Plumber position can be difficult on the head, knees, and elbows. Still, it's generally a safe sexual position to reduce discomfort; place several pillows down before playing.
